With the cooler weather finally reaching East Texas, how would you feel about a bonfire? If you’re anything like us at Serenity Church, then you are ALL for one!
Serenity Church of Longview will be holding its annual bonfire this coming Saturday, November 12th, 2022 at 6:30 pm. S’mores WILL be involved….along with chili dogs and Frito pie! This event will contain music, food, fellowship, games, prizes and so much more.
All are welcome to attend this casual fellowship that Serenitarians enjoy every year. The bonfire will be held at AJ and Pam’s house outside Kilgore. Their address is 12291 County Road 243. If you planned on attending Serenity Church this coming Saturday, we won’t be at 103 Birdie Place…we’ll be in the woods having fun. Plan to join us!!
Join us on August 13, 2022 for a late Birthday/Anniversary bash. We are celebrating our 11th year as a church late due to health issues at the correct time. We have been in our building for 3 years. Yay!!!
We are going have pizza, homemade ice cream, and snacks to celebrate these events.
Please come join us on February 25 for a movie night. We will begin the movie at 6:30 PM. A time of fellowship, come on out to visit with your church family.
The will be a general church business meeting on Feb 19th. This will be a brief overview of the church’s goals, financial standing, and achievements. It will occur as part of the normal service, so there is no staying longer.
All you ladies are invited to a movie night on July 20, 2021 at 6:30 pm. It is a time to fellowship and just let your hair down. There are rumors of a “Pink Alamo” being played. Not sure what that is by it warrants checking out.
If you are dying to watch ‘The Alamo’ movie with group of friends, then you are in luck. There will be a viewing on July 9th at 6:30 pm. This is a great time to fellowship.
On July 3rd there will be a watermelon social before service. Then Reverend James Burns will be sharing a message from his heart. He will be visiting with his family, so be sure to welcome them with open arms and hearts.
